Mark Leruste
MAKE FEAR YOUR BITCH
Note from Leaving Cert Countdown: As you Leaving Cert Warriors get ready for the challenge of your achademic life, Leaving Cert Countdown follows Mark Leruste, London based certified Life Coach and publish author on his 365 day fitness challenge. Bring on the motivation! Please note that we do not suggest you try this as home! The Leaving Cert year is not the year to take on the fitness challenge of your life! However, keeping positive, motivated and with your eye on the final goal is an important factor. This is what Mark's challenge is all about! On the other hand, some fresh air and exercise is not a bad idea anfter long hours in the classroom and studying...and better to start any regime at the beginning of the year as opposed to a few weeks before exams...over to Mark!

The 365 Days Challenge
To fay is the first day of the rest of my life. Sounds cliché? Well it is! Even though today is my birthday, today really is the first day
of the rest of my life. Why? Because I've deceided to take on the challenge of my life! That's right! If I'm going to be coaching my clients
to achieve extraordinary results in all aspects of their lives, I'm going to have to prove that how you do anything is how you do everything. walk the talk! My challenge is to commit to doing some sort of physical exercise every single day for the next 365 days until my next birthday. If all goes to plan, not a day will go by wjere I won't break a sweat. So, what exactly counts? Swimming, cycling, running, yoga, stretching, circuit training, dancing, mix martial arts training, home training, rope skipping, going to the gym, shadow boxing, push ups etc. There's no time constraint and anything goes as long as I clock in some sort of physical activity every day besides walking. How will you know if I stay comittied? You'll be able to stay updated through my video blogs, articles, pictures, recipes, new challenges, photos and much more. This will make it virtually impossible for me to back out as I'm making my challenge very public. I'll do my best to keep on sharing with you as much as I can about my experience. Any final words? If I manage to stay committed and radically transform my body in a year I'll be able to say, "I $#%#%# did it!" So, here we go. One year to change the way I look and feel. One year to go to get my life in shape!
Body Evolution (week 0)

It wouldnt be a challenge without a bit of public embarassment, so here is a photo of what I look like on the first day of my challenge (almost naked!!) Happy Birthday to me! Ps, now I'm really praying I will actually see some results by the end of the challenge or this will be quite embarassing!
